The #teamblenheim under 16 girls’ team took the short trip to Epsom and Ewell for the NSSSA 7 a side tournament and won the tournament! With a young team made up of year 9 and 10 students the girls were ready to show what they could do.

Blenheim 0 v 0 Hinchley Wood (1) The first game saw the team play a strong Hinchley Wood team. Abi and Evie D almost broke the deadlock but the game finished 0-0.

Blenheim 1 v 0 Hinchley Wood (2) In the second game the Blenheim side took all 3 points against Hinchley Wood. The final score of 1-0 resulted from a great run form Leah was converted first time by Tilly at the back post.

Blenheim 0 v 0 Epsom and Ewell In the third game a point was secured against Epsom and Ewell. Blenheim should have taken all 3 points but failed to turn a dominant performance into a goal scoring one.

Blenheim 1 v 1 St Andrew’s The final game was a close one against St Andrew’s, with Blenheim hitting the post twice before Evie D shot high into the rook of the net. A late penalty to St Andrew’s, which was converted, meant another point after what would have been a deserved win.

Blenheim who were crowned North Surrey Champions on goal difference, thoroughly deserved, well done #teamblenheim
