Whole School Remembrance

Posted on: 11/11/2024

Blenheim held its annual Remembrance Service today. As usual the students’ behaviour was exemplary. Remembrance is a great way for students to acknowledge, and thank, previous generations who sacrificed so much in the name of the British values that we enjoy today.

The Act of Remembrance School is addressed.

The exhortation is recited.

“They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them. Amen”.

Wreaths are laid.

Last post is played.

Two minutes silence.

Reveille is played.

Kohima Epitaph is recited.
