Chelsea FC Blenheim 5v3 Peterborough United

The first game of the season saw a fantastic bravery from Erin to step into midfield with the ball and find Dior who cut inside with the ball, beat a defender and finished calmly with her left foot. There then followed a fantastic solo goal from Erin. Under no pressure Erin found an opportunity to strike from distance. In the 41st minute Blenheim scored again with direct play from Dior, after receiving from Blenheim's ball playing centre back Erin, picking out the forward running Dani who shifted away from the defender and produced a great strike to beat the goalkeeper. Almost immediately, following some quick intricate passing from Blenheim, Dani Dias picked up a loose ball and drove forward before playing through Zoe into a crossing position where she calmly found Dior for her 2nd of the match. After a difficult last 20 minutes for Blenheim, Ava settled the nerves by reading the game and intercepting the ball high up the pitch. She then calmly slotted past the goalkeeper to seal the 3 points.

Chatham Town 1v3 Chelsea FC Blenheim

After a dominant opening where contrasting styles were clearly evident Blenheim worked the ball well from front to back. Audrey, who had a dominant performance, cut in from the right and delivered the ball perfectly, over the goalkeeper and into the net. Sophie '38 - A well delivered corner from a brilliant Maddie caused confusion in the Chatham box as Sophie placed a composed shot into the bottom corner. Chatham responded against the run of play soon after but the Cheslea FC Blenheim academy side played out the game for the 3 points.
