Students in Year 7 travelled to Eastbourne this week. The students firstly investigated the impact coastal management was having on Eastbourne beach. Working in small groups students measured the size of groynes to assess whether or not they were stopping longshore drift. They also undertook a field sketch of the area, annotating on the key geographical features they could see. Several local people stopped the staff to say how impressed they were with students confidence and geographical knowledge when asking questions. I am beyond proud of all of the students for representing Blenheim in such a positive and respectful way!
