Year 9 Art students started a topic over the Autumn term called Eat it! They were asked to complete an observational drawing homework of something you could eat. At the same time, students received information about the Art Bytes competition. The competition is only open to Year 5 and Year 9 students in the UK; over 100 schools entered the competition. The Art department were notified of Blenheim’s top three – Blenheim staff were then asked to send the designs out to a public vote. 

Blenheim votes came in for Sophie, Holly and Adela. The girls were invited to a presentation evening, where it was announced that Sophie was the winner for the southern region. Sophie was presented with a golden ticket (free entry to galleries until the age of 16).

Blenheim High School was also announced as the Southern school winner and presented with acertificate. Amazing results from #TeamBlenheim.
