Over 200 students published as part of Young Writers Competition
Posted on: 15/12/2021Students across the school took part in the UK Young Writers’ competition. The theme last term was to write a poem that Empowered others.
I am delighted to announce that over 200 students have been selected for their poem to be published in the Young Writers’ book. Young Writers have been running competitions with secondary schools to promote poetry and creative writing since 1991 and their aim is to inspire children everywhere to become more confident and passionate writers.
Those who have been chosen to be published will be featured in the book called ‘Empowered - Whispered Truths’. A copy will remain in the National Archives of the British Library forever and you will have the chance to purchase a copy as a personal keepsake.
