In a tense and closely contested encounter, the Year 7 girls triumphed 1-0 over Three Rivers, with a brilliant volley proving to be the match-winner. The game was a true battle, with both teams pushing hard to break the deadlock, but it was Blenheim’s clinical finishing and solid defence that ultimately secured the victory.Even though Three Rivers threw everything forward desperate for an equaliser Blenheim’s defence remained rock-solid. Scarlett RM, Scarlett K, Lucie and Bella in particular were outstanding at breaking up attacks and clearing the ball, while the rest of the defensive unit worked tirelessly to keep the opposition at bay. Special well done to goalkeeper Emma, whosaved couple of difficult shots. A special mention goes to Bayla, who was named Player of the Match for her exceptional ability and hard work on the pitch.
