The Year 9 girls took part in the first rounders tournament of 2024 on Tuesday! The girls played

against Hinchley Wood (host school), Ashcombe, Three Rivers, St Andrews, Rosebery and Esher.

The team were off to a great start winning their first match. The girls were confident, focused,

and were enjoying being outside in the sun! Unfortunately, that was our only win, however, the

girls have learnt a lot from the experience, and they had a great time. Team Captain Riley was

able to have conversations with the team during the breaks and we were able to have a look at

our strengths and weaknesses. The games were very close, and the competition was fierce. The

team demonstrated their fantastic batting and fielding abilities, and we saw some impressive

catches resulting in some of the opposition being caught out. Overall, it was a fantastic afternoon!
