Huge congratulations to Alex, Lula and Lia in Year 13 for their participation and success in this summer’s Cambridge Chemistry Challenge for Lower Sixth (Year 12). This competition aims to stretch and challenge students interested in Chemistry. This year saw a record number of candidates participate; 10,130 students from over 600 schools recorded a valid score. Alex achieved a Gold Certificate, and he was placed in the top 5% nationally. Lula and Lia obtained Bronze awards, and this represents the top 34%. They prepared for their challenge by attending extra lessons in Co-Curricular time on Friday afternoons. Their achievement is well deserved indeed.
