The Year 8 Athletics team had a fantastic time on Monday at Hinchley wood as we faced 6 other local schools in the area. This was great preparation for Sports Day as students took part in two Track events and two Field event. On the track events Harrison managed to win two of his sprinting events demonstrating excellent running technique. On the field events it was great to see Tilly and Josh perform very well in both Javelin and Discus with till ending up third in the Javelin. It was also great to see individual brilliance from all especially Euan who managed to finish second in the High Jump. 

Overall, it was a fantastic event and excellent to see students step outside their comfort zone and take part in a range of events.
