On Monday night the year 8 Netball B team played in a tournament against Esher, St Andrews, CFS and Hinchley Wood. The girls started slowly with a loss against St Andrews, which proved to be a tiring match. However, as Blenheim had a team of 13, the girls went into the next match with lots of fresh legs, which provided an advantage against CFS. The defending was fantastic and CFS only managed to score 2 goals the entire game. Unfortunately, it wasn't the best day for Blenheim's shooting and the team lost 2-1; well done to Jess who scored. The final match was against Esher, which also ended up being a very tight, competitive game. The girls played their best match of the tournament and it really developed their confidence on court. Despite this, unfortunately the team lost. Considering this was their first tournament the team did really well. We look forward to the next match after half term.
