Match 1 against Esher High
The first outing for the year 7 girls. It was a tight match The girls made some fantastic interceptions but were often unable to take them to goal.

Match 2 against Cobham
Cobham quickly built some momentum and took the lead. Alana worked tirelessly in defence, collecting rebounds and making multiple interceptions, but Blenheim’s through court play lacked depth and the girls struggled to take the ball into the attacking third.

Match 3 against Three Rivers
The team focused on more variety at the centre pass and driving to the circle edge. Violet held her position under the post and along with some accurate shooting this paid dividends as Blenheim clawed their way back into the game.

Match 4 against Rosebery
After losing the first three matches the girls hit the ground running and went 5 -0 up in the first few minutes. Captain, Violet gave the squad confidence from the front with numerous nets, supported by Leah. The rest of the team read the game beautifully, linking the defence with the attack seamlessly.

The team played really well given this was their first set of matches.
