BLENHEIM HIGH SCHOOL 2 - 1 ESHER HIGH SCHOOL

The year 7 Boys’ Football team won their first league game of the season with an excellent team effort.

Each member of the squad put in a fantastic performance to beat a competitive Esher High team.

Blenheim dominated the first half taking a 2-0 lead with both goals scored by Captain Oscar. A number of other good chances were also created. Esher fought back to score a goal from a free-kick late in the half.

Esher took control of the second half but with the defence well organised by centre-back Ryan and the midfield being run by Ben, Blenheim did not allow Esher any clear-cut chances and saw out a well deserved win.

This win was hugely deserved and was just rewards to the whole squad for their hard work in training and in games. The team has improved in every game, with all the work on the training ground being put into action. Well done boys!
