Year 7

BLENHEIM HIGH SCHOOL 2 - 9 COBHAM FREE SCHOOL

The year 7B team played Cobham Free School. Blenheim played well showing improved confidence as the game progressed against an opposition consisting of mostly A team players. Although the final score was 9 - 2 to Cobham,the team can take great credit for the way they played and the spirit they showed. A particular mention to Lyri who scored both of Blenheim's goals. 

Year 8

BLENHEIM HIGH SCHOOL 4 - 7 COBHAM FREE SCHOOL

This week the Year 8 Netball B team played Cobham Free School.

The conditions were challenging but the girls battled through and ended the quarter tide at 2-2, Sophia scored two beautiful goals. Going into the second quarter, Cobham picked up the pace and scored two goals in quick succession.Blenheim's defenders turned up the heat, with Emily and Melissa intercepting some important shots. 

The scoring continued and Emma scored a further two goals to make the score 4-4 at half time. 

The third quarter saw Cobham increase the tempo; Blenheim had to dig deep to continue defending. Unfortunately by the end of the game Blenheim just missed out on a win with the final score of 7-4. This team haven’t played many matches against other schools together and it was impressive to see how they put their training to good use.Congratulations to Gabi, who was Blenheim's Captain for the first time and did an amazing job and Melissa who was voted player of the match. Well done girls.
