In a clash against a top of the table Barking Abbey, Chelsea FC Blenheim arrived in Barking expecting a tough match.
After two losses on the road a strong performance was needed against top-quality opposition.
For the first 20 minutes Blenheim played the better football, however Barking Abbey created clear chances resulting in their 2-0 lead at half time.
The second half saw Chelsea FC Blenheim maintain control of the ball whilst Barking Abbey worked on trying to catch Chelsea FC Blenheim out on the counter attack. Blenheim were close to scoring, when a Caitlin freekick hit the bar, but it was another loss in the National Football Youth League for Chelsea FC Blenheim.
