On a blustery Thursday, Blenheim Year 9 boys’ boarded the coach to Christ College to take on a strong side in the ESFA National Cup. Christ College have been tipped as cup favourites this year. 

Despite fantastic performances from many of the boys this, sadly, was not enough to prevent a loss against fast paced opposition who hit Blenheim on the counter attack despite the away side having much of the ball.

Stand out displays came from Josh on the right wing who created a number of opportunities for his team mates. Harry, Tom and Rico also had impressive performances. 

In the first game of the season the boys showed resilience and determination which stands the team in good stead for the rest of the season.
