Year 9 Blenheim girls took part in a 5-a-side football tournament held at Chessington School last Thursday 13th May. The team started strong with a 5-0 win against Hollyfield School. Subsequently, Blenheim then defeated Kingston Academy 6-0. 

#TeamBlenheim were now really confident and defeated Chessington School's 'B squad', 12-0. However, Blenheim were yet to face their toughest opponents; Tolworth Girls' School. Blenheim took the lead but unfortunately, the opposition won the match by one goal in a narrow 3-2 defeat. 

Blenheim bounced back and powered through to the next round beating Chessington's A squad 4-0. 

Finally, #TeamBlenheim faced Tolworth Girls in the final and unfortunately lost by three goals in a 5-2 defeat. Gutted but proud, Blenheim earned second place. 

Well done to Ella, Ariana, Danielle, Izzy, Amy and Chloe for showing camaraderie and a great #TeamBlenheim spirit.
