At the beginning of January our Chelsea Academy Team and Staff decided to take on a lockdown challenge with a twist. They set themselves the target to collectively run the distance from Blenheim High School in Epsom to the Allianz Arena in Munich, where Chelsea's mens first team won the champions league final in 2012. The distance equals 1,133km and would take over 11 hours if driving!

They took on this feat to raise money for the Samaritans who have been crucial in supporting families during recent lockdowns and during these times of uncertainty.

And they did it! After 27 days of running they achieved their goal and raised a valuable £635 for the Samaritans.
