After a fabulous game of football yesterday afternoon, Blenheim are Surrey Champions! Well done #teamblenheim Girls Under 16 Football team.

This is the second time the school has won at this age. The girls’ won a great game of football 3–2 after being behind 1-0 at half time v Cheam High School.

An outstanding 40 yard free kick from Lucy set up the comeback, with 2 well taken goals from Becca putting Blenheim in a commanding position at 3-1. Cheam scored another goal with 10 to play but the girls dominant performance never left the result in doubt.

A great performance and with only 2 of the 13 players Under 16 the girls that played up an age group (the majority being our successful Under 15 team) were a credit to the school as always.
