Information to candidates about remarks from JCQ:
The following information explains what may happen following an enquiry about a result and any subsequent appeal.

If your school or college makes an enquiry about a result, (a review of the original marking) and a subsequent appeal, for one of your examinations after your subject grade has been issued, there are three possible outcomes:

1. Your original mark is lowered, so your final grade may be lower than the original grade you received.
2. Your original mark is confirmed as correct, so there is no change to your grade.
3. Your original mark is raised, so your final grade may be higher than the original grade you received.

The form must be signed and consent given in order for the enquiry to be processed. This tells the Head of your school or college that you have understood what the outcome might be, and that you give your consent to the enquiry about results being made.

Process
The process for a review of results will be:

1. Meeting with a member of the Senior Leadership Team to discuss the results and agree next steps
2. Submit Request to Mrs Ciesco and make payment
3. Outcome will be communicated to you via email once received

How to pay

Electronic payment with a credit/debit card will be required at the time of submitting the request.
